Le comte et la communiste takes place in 1918, a few days after the end of the Great War and a year after the October Revolution. A communist spy is hired as a laundress in the castle of a Russian aristocrat, an officer in the Tsarist imperial army. The young woman's mission: to uncover and foil the dark plots being hatched within these walls.
