The story begins with a rather unusual pair. Finian is a crybaby little mushroom who has accidentally gotten separated from his fellow mushrooms; Dolo is a chatterbox scarecrow who has also somehow lost his companions. This lost duo wanders through Zhongshan Forest, far from the human world — little do they know that humanity's reach extends everywhere. A mushroom monster and a talking scarecrow were always destined to be caught by humans. As they make their escape… the scarecrow ran so fast he slipped and fell off a cliff! The little mushroom ran so slow he got caught by the humans! Just as we don't know whether to laugh or cry… in another corner of the forest, a mercenary traveling through the night is quietly dragged into this mess...
