Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg is an alternate history mod for Paradox Interactive's Hearts of Iron series of grand strategy games. Its history goes back to 2005, when the first version of the mod was released for Hearts of Iron II. Kaiserreich envisions a world in which the Central Powers win the First World War, with the Third French Republic collapsing following a popular socialist revolution in 1920, followed by another such revolution in the United Kingdom in 1925.
