Minimalist Rally 2D is a single-player, arcade-style infinite rally racer with a minimalist visual presentation. The player drives along an endlessly generating road and attempts to survive as long as possible without hitting the walls. Acceleration is automatic, leaving steering and drifting as the only inputs, and drifting is required to hold the sharper corners. There is no finish line; runs are measured by time and distance survived, and a crash ends the run instantly. The game ships with a set of selectable visual themes, each paired with its own music track. The Honey and Orchid themes were composed by Music Mentor Dan (Dan Spencer), with additional tracks contributed by Sicky, Amrican, Ethan, ElebonHamstarr, Cloud, and Sarlonida.
