Best monster taming games

I compiled a list of some of the best monster taming games. For something to be classified as part of the monster taming genre, it has to allow the player to catch, train, and make your monsters fight vs other monsters. It doesn't necessarily have to be turn-based, but it should have RPG elements (mainly being able to level up your monsters and fight NPCs)
