For twenty years he has used science, deductive logic, and a healthy dose of arrogance to prove that every ghost is just a projection and every monster is just a well-made costume. He is a man of facts in a world of frauds. He was the best at denying the impossible… until he accidentally summoned it. Enter Murray. A chaotic, playful, electric Imp. He is bound to Arthur and subject to physics laws, yet he cannot directly interact with it and remains invisible to everyone else. Now Arthur must continue his investigations while dragging around a supernatural partner he refuses to believe in.
