Gloombo

About

Gloombo is a cozy desktop companion game where a little floating island sits beside whatever the player is working on. Players choose crafting projects and start focus sessions while Gloombo works on her own tasks. Between sessions, they can decorate the island, grow a garden, fulfill orders from distant lands, trade with a traveling vendor, and care for a cat. The island can be moved and resized on the desktop. Orders have no deadlines, and friendships and the bond with the cat do not fade while the player is away. Ambient sounds and music accompany focus sessions, and the game does not monitor the player’s work.
